  • You can send any type of files (txt, doc, pdf, mp3, jpg, etc): text documents, images, audio, and video files, as long as they fit within the size limit.

  • Yes, as for now, file sharing is limited to a maximum size of 25 MB.

  • Firstly, file transfer in the app is completely anonymous. You connect with people via your EXTRA SAFE number; your only in-app identity.

    Secondly, the file transfer is E2EE, meaning the files are encrypted on your device, stay encrypted while in transit, and decrypted on the recipient's device.

    Finally, all messages and shared files are automatically deleted from the chat after a set time. You control how long these files and messages stay visible; for minutes, hours, days, or a week.

  • Once a message or file is auto-deleted from the chat, it cannot be restored. Your file sharing remains completely safe and private.
