• Are EXTRA SAFE calls truly private?

  Yes. Every call connects your devices directly via WebRTC — the audio and video stream travels peer-to-peer, encrypted in transit. Each session is protected by cryptographic keys generated locally on your device at the start of the call. Your call content stays between you and your contacts.

• Can I call from my computer?

  Yes! You can make calls from your computer using the EXTRA SAFE desktop app or directly from a browser.

• Can I chat during a call?

  Yes. Every call includes a built-in encrypted chat. You can share messages, files, and links during the session — all end-to-end encrypted and contained within the call. When the call ends, the room and everything shared in it disappears completely.

• How many people can join a call?

  Up to 5 participants, including the host. When the call ends, all content from the in-call chat is cleared automatically.

• Can someone join a call without the EXTRA SAFE app?

  Yes. Share a link, and anyone can join right from a browser. The same call, the same encrypted connection.

• Does EXTRA SAFE record or store my calls?

  Calls stream directly between devices, and the session lives only while you talk. When the call ends, the session and everything in it is gone. EXTRA SAFE doesn’t record or store your calls.
