EXTRA SAFE is designed so your identity is never part of the communication process. When you first open the app, you’re assigned a unique EXTRA SAFE Number, which acts as your identity inside the app. You don’t have to provide a phone number, email, or any personal details.
EXTRA SAFE is built with two core principles: privacy and security.

Privacy (Anonymity) – You never provide a phone number, email, or personal details. Instead, you get a unique EXTRA SAFE Number. Nothing in the app links your activity to your real-world identity.

Security (Encryption) – The in-app and in-call chats are end-to-end encrypted, which means you can share any data you want in texts and files. The call sessions are protected by a key pair (similar to Ethereum’s cryptographic model), and the private key never leaves your device.
