I received a Gift Link — how do I claim it?
Someone has gifted you stablecoins. Tap the link, install EXTRA SAFE, and claim the gift — your wallet is created on your phone with the funds already inside.
Claim your gift
1.
Tap the link. The App Store or Google Play opens.
2.
Install EXTRA SAFE and tap Start.
3.
You’ll see “You have a gift from {sender’s name}”. Choose a name for yourself and tap Claim Gift.
4.
If the sender set a password, enter it. They’ll share it with you separately.
5.
A chat with the sender opens, and the gift is in your wallet.
6.
Open the Wallet tab, save your recovery phrase, and set a PIN.

Why the amount is slightly less
Claiming a gift has a small service and network fee, paid from the gift itself. So you receive slightly less than the amount the sender gifted, and you don’t need any funds of your own to claim it.

The link says the gift is already claimed. It may already be claimed, taken back by the sender, or returned after a month. Ask the sender to send a new one.

You don’t have the password. Ask the sender for it.

You already have EXTRA SAFE. Open the link on the same phone, and the gift opens in the app.
Be careful: a real Gift Link never asks you to pay or send funds to claim it. If someone does, it’s a scam.
