What should I do if my camera or microphone isn't working?

Check permissions, device settings, and browser/app access.

Quick checklist

  • 1.

    Confirm camera and microphone permissions are granted to EXTRA SAFE in your device settings.

  • 2.

    On iOS: Settings → EXTRA SAFE → Camera / Microphone → On.

  • 3.

    On Android: Settings → Apps → EXTRA SAFE → Permissions → Enable.

  • 4.

    For browser calls: click the camera/mic icon in the browser address bar and allow access.

  • 5.

    Close any other app that might be using the camera or microphone.

  • 6.

    Restart the call or refresh the browser tab.
