What happens if I send crypto to the wrong contact?
The transaction cannot be reversed. The only resolution is asking the recipient to send the funds back.
On-chain transactions are final – that's a property of the blockchain, not a policy decision. EXTRA SAFE cannot intercept, freeze, or return a confirmed transfer.
If you realize the mistake immediately and the transaction is still pending (not yet confirmed), there may be a narrow window to act – but this is not guaranteed.
Prevention is the only real protection. Before sending, check the contact name and confirm the amount. For larger transfers, send a small test amount first.
