How do I create my account in EXTRA SAFE and activate the wallet?
Account setup
1.
Open EXTRA SAFE and, optionally, enter a display name.
2.
Receive your unique EXTRA SAFE number – this is your identity for messages and crypto.
Wallet activation
1.
Go to the Wallet tab and tap Start.
2.
Get your recovery phrase and save it.
3.
Create PIN – it protects your wallet and confirms transactions. Make sure to also save it.
4.
Optional – allow EXTRA SAFE to use biometrics – your Face ID for login.
And it’s done – your wallet is activated. Now you can send digital dollars and crypto in chats to contacts who also have their wallets activated in the app.
What happens during setup
Your wallet is created on your device, and your keys stay under your control. This is what enables self-custody from the start.
