What data does EXTRA SAFE collect about me?

EXTRA SAFE is built to know as little about you as possible. Messages are encrypted, keys stay on your device, and your identity is not linked to personal data.

What EXTRA SAFE does not collect

  • Your private keys – these are generated locally and never leave your device

  • Your message content – E2EE means only you and your contact can read it. Any storage is temporary (based on the auto-deletion timer you set) and encrypted

  • Your transaction details – crypto is signed on-device

What minimal data is required for the app to function

Some operational data is necessary to route messages and establish connections – for example, encrypted message payloads and session metadata needed to deliver messages. This is the minimum required for the technology to work and is not used for profiling or targeting.

EXTRA SAFE is GDPR compliant and applies data minimization as a foundational principle, not an afterthought.

Q: Does EXTRA SAFE share data with third parties?

EXTRA SAFE does not sell user data. We do not allow advertisers to target users through the app. Where third-party infrastructure is used (e.g., for on-ramp services), only the minimum necessary technical data is passed.

Q: Is EXTRA SAFE audited or open to external review?

Security architecture and compliance posture are priorities. Information about any audits or third-party reviews will be shared publicly as they become available.
