Yes. An incoming transfer shows up as a message notification – the same as any other chat.
When someone sends you crypto, it appears in the conversation thread and triggers a standard message notification. The funds are added to your wallet simultaneously. There's no separate "payment" notification – it lives in the chat where the relationship already is.
