How do I install and sign in to EXTRA SAFE Desktop?
EXTRA SAFE Desktop brings your chats and your self-custodial stablecoin wallet to your computer. Download it for Windows or macOS, then sign in with your existing account.
Install
1.
Go to the EXTRA SAFE download page and choose your system.
2.
Windows: run the installer and follow the steps.
3.
macOS: open the downloaded file and drag EXTRA SAFE to Applications.
4.
Open EXTRA SAFE.
Sign in to your account
1.
On the start screen, tap Restore Account.
2.
Enter your 12-word recovery phrase, or restore from your encrypted backup in Google Drive or iCloud.
New to EXTRA SAFE?
Create your account right on your computer: pick a name and get your EXTRA SAFE number. Then activate the wallet in the Wallet tab and save your recovery phrase.
Keep your account safe on a computer

Download EXTRA SAFE only from extrasafe.chat.

Lock your computer when you step away. Your chats are readable on an unlocked screen.

Enter your recovery phrase only in the EXTRA SAFE app, and only on a computer you trust.
Can I use EXTRA SAFE on my phone and computer at the same time?
Yes. Your phone and computer stay in sync, so your chats and wallet are on both. Messages you send from one device appear on the other.
Is my wallet on Desktop self-custodial?
Yes. Your private keys stay on your devices and are never sent to EXTRA SAFE. You hold your own keys — nobody can freeze your funds.
