How do I make a voice or video call in EXTRA SAFE?
Start a call from a chat or directly from the Calls tab. All calls are peer-to-peer, the call sessions are encrypted, and they leave no trace when they end.
There are two ways to start a call:
1.
From a chat — open any conversation and tap the call icon in the top bar. This starts a 1:1 call with that contact directly.
2.
From the Calls tab — start a new 1:1 or group call from scratch, or repeat a recent call from your call history with one tap.
3.
From a contact's Profile — open a profile via Contacts, a Calls history record, or a chat, and tap the call button there.
All calls in EXTRA SAFE go directly from device to device – by default, no central media server relays your audio or video stream. Every session is protected by locally generated cryptographic keys. When the call ends, the contents of the in-call chat disappear completely.
