What is the EXTRA SAFE wallet, and how does it work?
The wallet inside EXTRA SAFE is self-custodial and stablecoin-first. Activate it in seconds, right inside the app and account you already have.
Self-custodial by design
Your keys are generated on your device and never leave it. EXTRA SAFE cannot see your private key, freeze your funds, or move them on your behalf. Your recovery phrase — the same one that protects your messenger account — is the only way to restore access.
What you can do with it

Send stablecoins or other tokens — from the Wallet tab or directly inside a chat — to a contact's EXTRA SAFE number instead of a wallet address.

Receive stablecoins and tokens on any network the wallet supports.

Swap between tokens without leaving the app.

Gift a funded link that lets someone with no wallet at all claim crypto and join EXTRA SAFE.
Multi-chain, gas settled in stablecoins
The wallet works across six EVM networks — Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, and Arbitrum — with Avalanche as the default. Gas settles in the same stablecoin you're sending, so you never need to hold a separate native coin first.
