Gas fees are paid to blockchain validators for processing transactions. The sender pays them, not EXTRA SAFE.
Every on-chain transaction – sending ETH, USDT, or any token – requires a small payment to the network validators who process and confirm it. This fee is called gas.

Typical fee range | Gasless experience via UGTP – gas paid in USDT, no AVAX needed. Effective user cost: near zero. | Varies widely – can range from $1 to $20+ during congestion | Typically, a few cents per transaction |
On Avalanche C-Chain with UGTP, you send USDT and pay gas with USDT. No AVAX required in your wallet. For everyday payments and in-chat transfers, Avalanche is the zero-friction default.
